Bio:
Severin Kantereit is the drummer for Germany’s hottest newcomer band AnnenMayKantereit. The members of AnnenMayKantereit all live in Cologne, have been grown up together and write songs about how life and love tear them apart, baffle and inspire them. They have made it out of the local streets into sold out clubs of Germany. They produce their highly frequented videos on their own, and their debut album has been recorded live single-handedly. Their fan base has increased impressively last year, their videos have each several thousand views and their album release show in the legendary Gebäude 9 club in Cologne has been sold out with lightning speed. With his percussive, very musical and song-orientated play young drummer Severin Kantereit contributes his significant part to what the band is today: one of the most aspiring newcomer bands in Germany. If you haven’t had the chance to catch them live this year supporting Beatsteaks and Clueso, you’ll have again the opportunity to get convinced by the outstanding live qualities of the trio on their big headline tour in spring 2016.
